Early Morning: Nairobi – Great Rift Valley – Lake Elementaita

Your safari begins with early morning pick-up from your hotel, residence, or airport in Nairobi (around 6:00–7:00 AM). After a short briefing from our professional safari guide, depart in a comfortable 4×4 safari Land Cruiser. Drive through the scenic Nairobi–Nakuru highway with a stop at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint, where you will enjoy breathtaking escarpment views and photography opportunities.

Continue the journey toward Lake Elementaita, arriving mid-morning.

Late Morning: Arrival & Birdwatching Experience

Upon arrival at the Lake Elementaita, begin your guided exploration of the lake ecosystem. The lake is a UNESCO-listed site known for its rich biodiversity and spectacular birdlife.

Enjoy birdwatching and photography opportunities featuring flamingos, pelicans, cormorants, herons, fish eagles, and many migratory bird species.

If you are willing, You can also explore parts of the surrounding Soysambu Conservancy, home to giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, elands, gazelles, and if you are lucky, the elusive leopard and tree climbing lions, alongside  other wildlife species.

Midday: Lunch & Optional Activities

Enjoy a delicious  lunch picnic as you relax and enjoy the peaceful Rift Valley atmosphere.

Afternoon: Game Viewing & Leisure

Continue with a short game drive or relaxed wildlife viewing experience. our guide will help you spot animals and explain the unique ecology of the lake and conservancy. Enjoy brief nature walk along the lake shores, Visit to Kekopey Hot Springs, Scenic photography stop. Take in the final views of the lake, wildlife, and birdlife before departure.

Late Afternoon: Return to Nairobi

Depart Lake Elementaita in the late afternoon (around 3:30–4:30 PM) and begin your journey back to Nairobi.

Arrive in Nairobi in the evening and be dropped off at your hotel or residence.
