This 6-days budget safari is a classic Kenyan adventure, offering an incredible diversity of landscapes and wildlife. Day 1: Drive From Nairobi - Amboseli National Park

You will be picked up from your hotel or airport in Nairobi in the early morning by your professional safari driver-guide, followed by a short briefing about your journey. Depart for Amboseli National Park via the scenic Nairobi–Mombasa highway, enjoying views of local villages, open countryside, and glimpses of rural Kenyan life along the way. Arrive in Amboseli in time for check-in and a relaxed lunch at your lodge or camp. After lunch, take time to unwind and soak in the tranquil surroundings, with views of the vast plains and, on a clear day, the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro rising in the distance.

Spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure within the lodge or camp, allowing your body to rest after the journey. You may choose to enjoy the camp’s amenities, take in the natural atmosphere, or simply relax as you prepare for the exciting days ahead. Dinner will be served in the evening, followed by an overnight stay at your lodge or camp.

Day 2: Amboseli National Park Full Day Game Drive

You will wake up to amazing views of Mount Kilimanjaro. After breakfast, proceed for a full-day game drive in Amboseli National Park, renowned for its large herds of elephants, fondly known as the Amboseli Jumbos. As you explore the park, you will also have the opportunity to spot a variety of other wildlife including lions, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, buffaloes, and an abundance of bird species that inhabit the wetlands.

Your driver will take you to the Amboseli Swamp, a lush green oasis that attracts numerous animals seeking water and shade, providing excellent photographic opportunities. Later, visit the observation point, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the park’s vast plains and the wildlife below as you enjoy your lunch. In the evening, return to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Check Out And Drive To Lake Nakuru National Park

After an early breakfast, check out of your lodge or camp and depart Amboseli National Park, enjoying a final glimpse of the park’s open plains and iconic views. Begin your scenic drive towards Lake Nakuru National Park, passing through a variety of landscapes including rural towns, agricultural farmlands, and stretches of the Great Rift Valley. Along the way. Arrive in Nakuru in the evening, check in at your lodge or camp, where you can unwind after the day’s travel and take in the peaceful surroundings. Dinner will be served at the lodge, followed by an overnight stay as you prepare for the next day’s safari experience.

Day 4: Morning Game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park

After an early breakfast, proceed for a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, a compact yet wildlife-rich park set within the Great Rift Valley. As you explore the park, keep an eye out for both black and white rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, and a variety of birdlife often found along the lake shores. The park is also home to lions, leopards, and numerous plains game, offering excellent photography opportunities in the soft morning light.

After the game drive, exit the park and begin your journey towards the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve with lunch en route, and scenic views of the countryside and rolling landscapes along the way. Arrive in Masai Mara in the evening, check in at your camp or lodge and take some time to relax and settle in as you prepare for the exciting safari experience ahead. Dinner will be served at the camp, followed by an overnight stay in the heart of the reserve.

Day 5: Full Day Game Drive At Masai Mara National Reserve

Spend the entire day exploring the vast plains of Masai Mara National Reserve with both morning and afternoon game drives, allowing for maximum wildlife viewing opportunities. After an early breakfast, set out into the reserve as the animals are most active, with chances of spotting lions on the hunt, large herds of elephants, cheetahs scanning the plains, as well as zebras, wildebeest, and a variety of other wildlife. Break for a picnic lunch at a designated scenic spot within the park, surrounded by the sounds and sights of the African wilderness.

In the afternoon, continue your exploration with a visit towards the famous Mara River, a key highlight of the reserve where dramatic wildlife interactions often occur, especially during the Great Migration season. You will also have the opportunity to visit a local Maasai village for a cultural experience, where you can learn about the traditions, lifestyle, and rich heritage of the Maasai people.

Return to your camp in the evening as the sun sets over the savannah. Enjoy dinner and relax around the camp, followed by an overnight stay in the heart of the reserve.

Day 6: Drive Back To Nairobi

After breakfast, check out and embark on your journey back to Nairobi and upon arrival you will be dropped off at hotel or JKIA marking the end of our journey.
