Overview

This 8-day mid-range safari is a quintessential Kenyan adventure, meticulously designed to offer unparalleled wildlife viewing and breathtaking landscapes. Your journey takes you through the country's most iconic parks:

• Masai Mara National Reserve: World-renowned for its high density of big cats and the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration. This is the heart of Big 5 territory.

• Lake Nakuru National Park: A bird-lover's paradise, famous for its vast flocks of pink flamingos lining the shores. It's also a fantastic rhino sanctuary, offering excellent chances to see both black and white rhino.

• Amboseli National Park: Best known for its large herds of elephants and the stunning, photogenic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak.

This itinerary combines classic game drives with unique experiences like visiting Hell's Gate National Park, ensuring a diverse and unforgettable East African safari.

Day 1: Drive Nairobi / Masai Mara

You will be picked up at your hotel of stay at 7 am and commence drive to Masai Mara Reserve. Have a stopover at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for a breathtaking view of the floor of the Rift Valley. Proceed drive to arrive for check-in and lunch at the camp. Spend the rest of the day at leisure or you may opt to visit the Maasai village and interact with the Maa community and learn their way of life and pay directly for same at the village. Dinner and overnight stay at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 2 and 3: Masai Mara – Two Full Days Exploring Masai Mara Reserve with views of the Wildebeest Migration

After early breakfast at 6:00 am, start at 6:30 am with picnic lunch. You spend full day exploring this unique park which really forms the northern part of the famous Serengeti National Park. You have the chance to visit Mara River – the border of Masai Mara and the famous Serengeti Park – where there is concentration of many animals. This is the day you will go down to Mara River to watch migration as it happens. All meals and overnight at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 4: Drive to Nakuru

After breakfast, check out and proceed drive to Nakuru with lunches on the way. Arrive for dinner and overnight stay at Sopa lodge.

Day 5: Game Drive at Lake Nakuru National Park and Drive to Naivasha

Enjoy a morning game drive at the great Lake Nakuru National Park. Thereafter, check out and enjoy lunch on the way. Drive to Naivasha for dinner and overnight at Sopa lodge.

Day 6: Hells Gate Visit and Drive to Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, depart for Hells Gate visit and here you also enjoy bike rides. You can also opt to do boat ride in Lake Naivasha. Thereafter proceed drive to Amboseli with lunch on the way. Arrive in the evening for dinner and overnight stay at Amboseli Sopa Lodge.

Day 7: Game Drive at Amboseli National Park

Very early morning, weather permitting, you should be able to see snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro which has spectacular views. Proceed for a game drive in the park where you will enjoy Amboseli Jumbos among other wildlife. You will also be taken to the Observation Point and have a look at the park from here. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge.

Day 8: Drive to Nairobi

After breakfast, check out of the park and continue drive to Nairobi with lunch on the way. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at airport for your onward flight as you have booked.
