This 8-day bush and beach safari is designed for travelers seeking a rich wildlife experience, dramatic landscapes, and scenery coastal relaxation. From the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro in Amboseli to the rugged volcanic terrain of Tsavo West and the white sands of Diani Beach, this itinerary delivers a perfect blend of adventure and tranquility. Day 1: Drive Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

You will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport between 7:30 and 8:00 AM by our professional safari guide in a private 4x4 Land Cruiser. Drive south through the scenic Athi plains toward Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for check-in and lunch at Amboseli kibo Lodge.

In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive in Amboseli, known for its large elephant herds, plains game, and iconic views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to kibo Lodge for relaxation, a hearty dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Full Day Exploring Amboseli National Park

Start your morning with a delicious breakfast  to catch the golden light of sunrise over Kilimanjaro. After breakfast, depart for a morning game drive across Amboseli’s open plains offer great opportunities to see elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and numerous bird species. The park’s swamps and acacia woodlands provide excellent photography backdrops and sightings of hippos and buffaloes.

Return to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation. Later in the afternoon, head out for another game drive to catch wildlife in the cooler hours of the day. As the sun sets, return to kibo Lodge for relaxation, a hearty dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Drive Amboseli – Tsavo West National Park

After breakfast, check out and drive to Tsavo West National Park, one of Kenya’s most scenic parks featuring rugged hills, lava flows, and acacia-covered plains. Arrive in time for lunch at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge, beautifully located overlooking a waterhole that attracts elephants, buffalo, and other wildlife.

In the afternoon, visit the Mzima Springs, a crystal-clear oasis fed by underground streams from Mount Kilimanjaro. Walk along shaded trails to spot hippos, crocodiles, and colorful fish visible through the underwater viewing chamber. Return to Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge  for dinner and overnight stay, with an evening view of wildlife gathering at the waterhole.

Day 4: Drive to Salt Lick Safari Lodge

After breakfast, depart for Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, a serene haven of rolling plains and acacia-dotted landscapes. Arrive at the iconic Salt Lick Safari Lodge, an architectural masterpiece built on stilts above active waterholes where herds of elephants, antelopes, and buffalo gather, offering breathtaking views right from your balcony.

After lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive in the private sanctuary. As dusk falls, return to Salt Lick Safari Lodge to enjoy dinner while observing nocturnal wildlife visiting the floodlit waterholes below your room.

Day 5: Drive Taita Hills – Diani Beach

After breakfast, depart for the coast, enjoying a scenic drive through rolling hills and local villages. Arrive in Diani Beach on Kenya’s South Coast by late afternoon. Check in at Baobab Beach Resort for relaxation.

Spend the rest of the day unwinding by the beach or swimming in the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean.

Day 6–7: Leisure Days at Diani Beach

Spend two full days at leisure along the palm-fringed shores of Diani Beach. Enjoy the resort’s facilities, lounge by the pool, or take optional excursions such as snorkeling, scuba diving, deep-sea fishing, or a dhow cruise to Wasini Island with a seafood lunch.

You may also visit Kisite-Mpunguti Marine Park, explore Colobus Conservation, or simply relax and soak up the coastal atmosphere.

Day 8: Drive Diani – Nairobi

After breakfast, check out and you will be transferred to ukunda airstrip for your flight  back to Nairobi by Air (approximately 45-60 minutes) where you will land at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) for your onward flight.
